Who are we to judge how another person, adult or child, is living their lives?  We are reminded here that we are all great creators deciding and creating our experiences and that, no matter what happens, because we are spiritual beings having a human experience, we cannot be permanently harmed in any way.  There is great freedom in non-judgment!
